In 2009, me and my friend were swimming in his pool and I remember asking him if he believed in karma, that bad things happen to people who do bad things. We were only 8 at the time and I still remember exactly what he said. He told me he didn’t believe in it, and I was okay with that.
Now, ten years later I realize that even though I think karma exists, I don’t like it. Even though I deserve some karma, I don’t think that when people do bad things to me, they deserve it. Not to make the pressure get lighter on me, but I dislike it when people are miserable. People always are for revenge, sure I am too, I’m also a person, I like suffering for the people who bring me down, who doesn’t? But it isn’t right because it is fair. And life is anything but fair.
The next time you think of karma, doesn’t matter if you believe in it or not, think about what you can do to change it from happening to another human being. Even if they hurt you.
