Life isn’t about what you have, but what you give and appreciate you’re having. They say that if you have a family that loves you, a few good friends, a roof over your head and food on your table, you are richer than you think. But what does it mean!?
It means, be thankful. I’m sure you are going through a lot of things and that a lot of things you’ve gone through in life already. Sure, you’ve got all the right in the world to be mad, if you want to. But if you choose to be unhappy, and stay that way, you won’t ever be able to let go of what happened and forgive the people who hurt you, and guess what?, that will only hurt no one but yourself. Because in life what goes around comes around.
To me, I’ve faced abuse, I’ve lost friends, family members and teams I did care about. I’ve even made so many mistakes in the past I can’t even remember where I begun to make them. But one thing’s for sure. I’m letting go, or I’m trying, at least, and that’s what I think matters. I also am thankful. Because every day I wake up asking myself if it’s worth going up of the bed, sometimes it isn’t but sometimes it is, and no matter if it is, or not, I position myself in somebody else’s shoes. “Would somebody pay their soul to the devil to have my bad days?” The answer is yes, some would.
The moral of this message is to be thankful for things, someone has it worse than you out there, and who knows, you might start wanting to appreciate what you have and who you have, before they disappear forever.
